On 23 December 2008, around 7:30PM, Nepalese residing in Matsuyama (and affiliated with Ehime University) had a gathering at a newly opened Nepalese-Indian restaurant in Okaido Shopping Arcade of Matsuyama to welcome a newly arrived student, Ms. Bidhya Pokharel (Graduate School of Law and Letters) and to mark the end of Year 2008 along with to discuss a few matters in relation with Nepalese activities in Matsuyama.
