Earthquake !!!


Tremors after tremor in eastern Nepal

KATHMANDU, Dec 2 - Three earthquakes jolted eastern Nepal within an hour Tuesday morning.

The first tremor of magnitude 5.4 on the Richter Scale was registered at 10.56 am Nepal Standard Time today morning, according to the National Seismmological Centre at the Department of Mines and Geology in Kathmandu.

This was followed by two minor quakes that were measured 4.0 on the Richter Scale at 11.16 and 11.55 this morning.

Epicentre of all the quakes was far-flung Lamfaram in the Tapelejung-Panchthar border.
